For a few days in early April, Yeouido is transformed into a dazzling wonderland with cherry blossoms everywhere. Yunjung-ro, the road which runs around the island, creates an great atmosphere with its 90,000 spring flowers and 1,886 cherry blossoms trees. Many couples and families are attracted to the island at this time of year. Why not take a trip on a cruise boat and enjoy the sight of the blossoms from the Han River.

The Yeondeunghoe Lantern Festival is～held each year on the occasion of Buddha’s birthday. Many people have said that it is the best festival held in Seoul over the past two years. July's Sinchon Water Gun Festival is comparable to the Songkran Water Festival of Thailand.
