A DMZ tour is a unique experience available only in Korea
that offers visitors an opportunity to experience the situation of the divided peninsula.
If you are interested in witnessing the history of the two seperate Koreas, a DMZ & Panmunjeom tour is strongly recommended.
Goseong Unification Observatory is also recommended for visitors to Gangwondo province.
※ It is not possible to visit the Panmunjeom, infiltration tunnel or the DMZ individually. Visitors must book a place on a tour program.
The DMZ tour course (available at a discount price) is recommended to holders of the KOREA TOUR CARD.
Do not forget your ID card (or passport).

In 1978, South Korean troops discovered an underground tunnel dug by North Korean troops to infiltrate the South. Visitors can feel the tense situation at the very place where two hostile forces confront each other. The tunnel is famous for the security tour course and the DMZ tour. It is not permitted to take photos inside the tunnel. |

Goseong Unification Observatory is located on the far eastern side of the ceasefire line. The beautiful scenery of Geumgangsan Mountain in North Korea can be seen from the 70m-high observatory. It is also equipped with religious facilities where visitors can pray for the reunification of the two Koreas and the peace and health of familly members in the North. |
